ÖBB Dosto New

In order to fulfill the maintenance concept for the new electric railcars in a four-car version (approx. 110 m vehicle length) and a six-car version (approx. 160 m vehicle length) of ÖBB Personenverkehr AG, a maintenance workshop is being built at the Vienna Floridsdorf freight station Angerer Straße. This includes 2 workshop tracks for four-part vehicles (hall length approx. 135m), 4 workshop tracks for six-part vehicles (hall length approx. 185m), approx. 1500 m² of storage space, approx. 300 m² of office and social rooms and a truck access road to the warehouse.

Three double-track hall bays are being built. The six hall tracks will be connected from the north via a new rail yard. The hall tracks are support tracks. Connecting tracks, waiting tracks and pull-out tracks are required to connect the new track yard.
